Blogging.....blog. blog. Say it out loud. Doesn't exactly flow trippingly off the tongue. But that's what I'm doing.

Last year for my birthday, my husband got me a website. ElleifIknow.com. Very clever, n'est pas? Unfortunately, when it comes to web design, I have not the skills to design and maintain my own website, nor especially the inclination to obtain said skills. So, I'm blogging.

ElleifIknow.com was designed as an advice column. Advice is something of which I am never in short supply, so I thought I'd apply that particular skill set to something productive. So instead of the unsolicited advice my friends and family were accustomed to, I would direct my wisdom to those who truly sought it. Until I got frustrated at not being able to change stuff easily. And without a webmaster to arrange things like that for me, elleifIknow fell by the wayside.

Then I started reading Jason Mraz's blogs on MySpace. Then he moved over here, and here I am. I am notorious for only really working on things at which I know I will succeed. (which might also explain my half finished CD of lullabies). But now I'm trying again. I always have something to say, if I can only apply myself to actually typing it out.

I am open to suggestion as to topics. I'm going to try to post things as I think of them. I don't know where this might be going, but at least I'm expressing myself, but also conserving paper. Wow, sharing my thoughts with the world AND being environmentally responsible. I suppose it's the least I can do.
